The Social Sciences Interdepartmental Program (SSIDP) offers the Master’s Degree in Social Science. Drawing from diverse theoretical perspectives and methodological strategies throughout the social sciences, students develop quantitative and qualitative research skills to help solve today’s most urgent and complex social problems. The program’s intensive nine-month curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinarity, collaboration, creative problem-solving, and community-based research practices. Our graduates are prepared for doctoral training in social science fields as well as careers that leverage social science research tools in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
The MaSS Program welcomes its ninth cohort of students to campus in Fall 2025!
